About this school:
Fort Mill High School is a National Blue Ribbon School with approximately 2360 students in grades 9-12. Our school prides itself on the successes of our students, both in our classrooms and beyond. The framework of rigorous expectations for knowledge, skills, and characteristics helps articulate a shared vision between our schools, higher education, and employers which ensures our focus continues to be on producing responsible productive graduates that possess the tools they need to be successful beyond high school in a 21st century global workforce. Additionally, our school continues to establish new and exciting opportunities for our students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).
We continue to take grade pride in the successfulness of our graduates knowing that they leave Fort Mill High School ready for the challenges of tomorrow. The Class of 2017 contained 506 graduates that were offered more than $15.5 million dollars in scholarship offers. Likewise, we have other alumni who will go on to serve their country in the armed forces or become community business leaders immediately after high school.
About This Event:
Fort Mill High School is hosting a STEAM day at our school on October 25th. It would be great to include a betabox to incorporate any of these letters. Students will rotate through the stations during their classes to the different business/corporations that align with the letters in STEAM. For instance, Johnson and Wales will be giving a demonstration on culinary arts, and we have a med flight unit flying in to incorporate sciences, etc.
We are excited to report that Fort Mill high school has received 100% of the funding goal from Schaeffler.
